Pen of the Month Club / Pen #8 / Zebra Z-MulsionEX
(All smears and blobs are a natural expression of the pens and remain uncorrected for authenticity.)

This is really interesting to me because I didn't find my hot pink Zebra Z-MulsionEX to be globby or blobby or smeary or inky. I wonder if it has something to do with the kind of paper I typically write on.
I'm curious about the apparently bi-modal distribution of opinions on smearing. Do the pens reported to smear have something in common - e.g. color, used by inept Michigan State alumni, e.t.c. ?

I loved the comment, "looks like the future of pen technology, but writes like it's from the bargain bin." Wonderfully expressed.
